The evening honored former Congressman Bruce Morrison, celebrated the Morrison Visa program’s transformative 30-year impact, and launched the Morrison Legacy Foundation.
The Morrison Visa Program changed the lives of 45,000 Irish men and women, offering them the opportunity to live, work, and contribute to the United States. But this was never just about immigration; it was about recognizing the value Irish-Americans bring to the fabric of the U.S. The Bruce Morrison Legacy Project exists to honor this historic moment, share the stories of those whose lives were transformed, and celebrate the bridge built between Ireland and America.
